Zeel Patel

Zeel Patel, a graduate student in Kinesiology at CSUN, holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from India and is a certified Orthopaedic Manual Therapist (COMT). She has extensive experience in physical therapy and currently serves as a Teaching Associate in the Kinesiology department at CSUN. Her research initially focused on Down syndrome during her undergraduate studies, and now she concentrates on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developing and evaluating a mobile app for ASD intervention. She plans to launch this mobile application in January 2025 and aims to pursue a career as a Neuro-therapist. Outside of academia, she enjoys traveling and semi-classical dance.
