Alique Malakian

Alique Malakian is a second-year graduate student in the M.S. Kinesiology program with an emphasis in biomechanics. She graduated with her B.S. in Kinesiology from Biola University in Spring 2023, where she also took part in the Torrey Honors College. Throughout her time as an undergraduate student, she has held several on-campus jobs, such as being a Supplemental Instruction Coach for General Chemistry II, Senior Peer Academic Advisor, and Teaching / Lab Assistant for Biomechanics. Last semester, she was an adjunct for Biomechanics Lab at Biola and will be teaching Biomechanics Lecture and Lab in the spring. Now at CSUN, she is teaching 2 units of KIN 152A: Soccer and 1 unit of KIN 345L: Biomechanics Lab. Her career goals are oriented towards either working in the biomechanics industry or pursuing a doctorate and becoming a university-level professor. Outside of school, she enjoys being active outdoors by hiking, running, skiing, and playing sports such as soccer and tennis.
